Here is a small list of some of the basic medical equipment used in Federation sickbays... I will try to update as much as I can...

Dermal Regenerator
Used to heal damage to skin tissue, emits a small blue beam of light and heals the area of skin that the beam passes over.

Hypospray
Hyposprays offer a painless way to inject the patient with medicines and eliminate pathogens.

Neural Suppresents
Used to "calm" the higher brain functions. Can be used as a powerful anesthetic, if the patient is undergoing major surgery that requires the brain to be dormant.

Anesthetics
Local Anesthetics put the patient into a sleep, the depth of the slumber depends on the amount of anesthetic given. Very useful when performing surgery.

Medical Tri-corder
Medical Tri-corders have been specifically programed to scan for symptoms of illness on organic matter. It measures brain activity, neural and organ functions. No Federation sick-by should be without one...

EMH - Emergency Medical Hologram
In cases of a ship-wide emergency, the EMH can be called upon to assist the medical staff. There are several holo-emitters placed around sickbay, so as the EMH is free to attend to patients wherever they are, though he cannot step foot outside sickbay, otherwise his program would be transferred back to sickbay. The EMH is invaluable in surgery, as it's database is comprised of knowledge from 3,000 different species, and he has the combined experience of over 2,500 surgeries. The EMH can be converted to the ECH, Emergency Command Hologram, if there are no remaining command staff left to run the ship...

Laser Scalpel
Laser Scalpels are used to create incisions in various different tissues. It uses a finely-tuned laser beam to make cuts. This device is available in different wavelengths for varied cutting strength and depth.

Emergency Surgical Kit
The emergency surgical kit is a supplemental field kit in the 2260s, used when the medical tricorder and medkit's contents are inadequate for the treatment of major trauma. It contains laser scalpels, protoplasers, and additional medications for sterilization, anesthesia, and pain relief.

A protoplaser is a medical device used in wound treatment. Anabolic protoplasers are a specialized version of a protoplaser.
